Montessori Training and General Needs of the Community
Dear Friends in Christ,
As the community grows and flourishes, we will be in need of additional donations to help send sisters to Montessori teacher training as well as for basic upkeep of the convent property and general needs of the community. Tuition for Montessori training, from an accreditited AMI training center, usually runs between $10,500-$12,500 for a full course, not including books or travel to the training site. One sister began training spring of 2022. Also, an additional (approx. $15,000)will be sought for the sisters to complete a Masters in Montessori Education through Loyola University or another University which partners with AMI training sites to offer this special degree.
